Travel insurance, including Schengen-compliant cover
Some destinations will not issue a visa without it, and every destination is a place where being uninsured can go badly. We arrange cover that meets the requirement and explain what it actually pays for.

Who this service is for
If any of these sounds like you, this is the right place to start.
You are applying for a Schengen visa
Schengen states require medical cover meeting a set minimum across the whole area for your entire stay. The policy has to say so on its face.
You are travelling with family
One policy covering everyone travelling, rather than separate cover bought piecemeal.
You have a pre-existing condition
Declaring a condition matters. An undeclared one is the most common reason a claim is refused when it is needed most.
You are studying or staying long term
Longer trips need cover built for the duration, not a standard short-holiday policy extended.

What this costs
Our service fee depends on the trip and how much of it we arrange, and it is always separate from the cost of the flights, accommodation, insurance premium or activities themselves. We quote the full amount before you commit to anything, and we tell you which parts of a booking are refundable and which are not.
Fares, room rates and premiums move constantly, so we confirm live prices at the time of booking rather than quoting figures that will be out of date by the time you read them.
Travelling somewhere that needs a visa?
Most destinations do. Check what your trip requires before you book anything, so your dates leave enough time to apply.
Questions about travel insurance

Ask on WhatsAppWhat insurance does a Schengen visa require?
Schengen states require travel medical insurance valid across the entire Schengen area for the full period of your stay, covering emergency medical treatment and repatriation to a set minimum amount. The certificate has to state the cover clearly. We check yours meets the requirement before you submit the application.
Do I need travel insurance for every destination?
Not every destination requires it as a condition of the visa, but that is a different question from whether you need it. Medical treatment abroad is expensive and is not covered by anything you hold at home. We will tell you where it is mandatory and where it is simply sensible.
What happens to my policy if my visa is refused?
That depends on the insurer's terms, and many policies bought for a visa application can be cancelled or refunded if the visa is refused, sometimes on production of the refusal letter. We check those terms before you buy so you know where you stand.
Should I declare a pre-existing medical condition?
Yes, always. An undeclared condition is the most common reason a claim is refused, and it tends to surface at the worst possible moment. Declaring it may change the premium or add an exclusion, but it means the cover you paid for will actually respond.
Does travel insurance cover trip cancellation as well as medical treatment?
Some policies do and some cover medical treatment only. Visa-driven policies are often medical-only, because that is what the embassy requires. If you want cancellation, lost baggage or delay cover as well, say so and we will arrange a policy that includes it.
